Campaigning for play: a toolbox

Power in Play

The Mayor of London is elected directly by Londoners and is responsible for setting out an overall vision for London and defining clear strategies on a range of issues including air quality, spatial development, culture and tourism, economic development and transport – many of which are relevant to play. London Play is calling on the Mayor to produce a London-wide play strategy which would bring all of these together. But in the meantime, the London Plan provides the Mayor’s most specific steer on play in the capital.
