Adventure playground volunteers

Adventure playgrounds run on the energy of volunteers.

  • Where: an adventure playground near you – look here
  • When: after school, school holidays and weekends
  • Benefits: new skills, new friends, warm fuzzy feelings

Adventure playgrounds are inspiring places which offer a variety of ways of becoming involved, from joining the board of trustees to make decisions about how the organisation is managed; to helping run sessions or mentoring, construction, gardening, maintenance and fire lighting activities.

Check out the list of adventure playgrounds on our website or take a tour via our interactive map and get in touch with one close to you.

Training
How do you balance risk against benefit? These PLAYLINK workshops aim to give you the confidence to do just that.
Jobs in play
Ideal candidates will have experience in a youth work setting and excellent communication skills. It would be an advantage to have working knowledge of some Islington communities and youth organisations so you can hit the ground running.
