Kaleidoscope After School and Holiday Club, New Barnet EN5

We have a vacancy for an experienced playworker with Level 2 or 3 qualification who can create play in fun, imaginative and creative ways. 


Hours: 12hrs per week (Tue-Fri) in term time; more during holiday play-schemes.
Salary: £10-12/hr depending on experience

The successful candidate will work Tuesday to Friday in term-time and in our holiday clubs where we deliver a fun and exciting programme of activities and trips further afield and on public transport.

The successful candidate will be expected to be punctual and reliable and share a love for children of all backgrounds with their uniqueness and different life experiences. We will ensure that the children are cared for in a happy, safe, stimulating environment. We run a kind and motivating club where children are listened to and understood and encouraged to play and enjoy the resources and activities provided.

We hope the candidate will be able to plan, set up and lead a variety of engaging activities including physical activities, fun games and art and crafts

Preferred candidates will have at least one year’s experience of working in childcare and a Certificate of Higher Education.
