City Bridge Trust
The City Bridge Trust funds third sector organisations, predominantly registered charities and only for charitable activity. It makes either revenue or capital grants; usually not at the same time.
Grants for large capital projects will usually not exceed £50,000 but there is no upper or lower limit for revenue funding.
It requires organisations that it funds to have secured some other source of revenue funding and to have an established track record. They must be engaged in work which benefits the inhabitants of Greater London.
The CIty Bridge Trust has seven current grants programmes which are:
Accessible London Bridging Communities
Improving Londoners' Mental Health
London's Environment
Older Londoners
Positive Transitions to Independent Living
Strengthening the Third Sector
Playschemes are eligible to apply for funding if their work meets any of these priorities.
Visit the City Bridge Trust website for more information and to download an application form.
